Hello there chickadee!! Can you believe it is already the end of the month? It flew by like a New York minute. Listen, if you blink you could easily miss an entire month! In spite of, I really hope you have picked up some breast cancer awareness facts and some helpful style tips.

Breast Cancer Awareness: Early Detection is KEY!

We have all heard how important early detection is, however, I want to share information with you about a woman who proves it! Shondia Sabari. Shondia was just 36 years old when she was diagnosed. This phenomenal woman says she "...scared the hell out of cancer so it took my breasts and left!" Shondia is a military spouse, like myself and started the nonprofit Bold and Breastless. #PINKOUT: Men Like Women in Pink!

According to my impromptu poll, pink is one of the top 5 colors men generally like to see women wearing. I know it can be super frou-frou, I will even admit that I am NOT a huge fan of pink overload for little girls (I guess because it's so cliche). However, the following are the reasons why the menfolk like to see women wearing it.

• Certain shades of pink are innocently flirty and of course the epitome of feminine the guys professed. I would warn that this cotton candy sweetness goes an extremely long way in small doses.Too much and you risk running into the Barbie slash princess territory. Guess what? The guys do NOT care for that territory.

• To avoid appearing sophomoric, keep your look minimalistic. For the most part, 1 to 2 key pieces in the color should suffice. If you're rocking a print, go for classic lines.

• Opt for a shade that is flattering for your age and complexion. If the shade you love isn't exactly your best shade, no worries. You can still rock it. Just be sure to wear it in a bracelet, pants or skirt or in a dress with a contrasting coverup over it (in efforts to keep the shade away from your face so it doesn't wash you out).

So, if you have been wondering what color would endear the guys to you, there you have it!! I also hope you will strongly consider checking out Bold and Breastless.
